Woj on Robert Sarver’s allegations, linking Donald Sterling of the Clippers

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has shed more light on the controversial scandal involving Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver and his allegedly racist and misogynistic methods. Woj provided more details about the steps commissioner Adam Silver and the NBA will take regarding their investigation into the matter at hand.

Woj announced that the NBA will use the same law firm they hired to investigate the case of former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling:

As Woj described in his report, this same law firm not only handled the investigation into Sterling in LA, but also, former Atlanta Hawks owner Bruce Levenson. For what it costs, both cases involve either leaked audio recordings or emails in which Sterling and Levenson used racist remarks. Moreover, both cases led to Sterling and Levenson being forced to sell their stock to their respective teams.

Given the similarity to the Suns ’current situation with Robert Sarver, it seems that this investigation will tread the same path as the aforementioned cases. Consequently, if the results of the investigation expose Sarver’s racism, then it is not surprising that he, too, would end up selling his share of the Suns franchise.
