Trump and Christie heavyweight battle as the 2024 election approaches

A clash of GOP titans has sparked talk of a 2024 showdown.

Pushed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was former President Donald Trump on Thursday, whom he ousted for defeating President Biden.

Meanwhile, a federal appeals court on Thursday temporarily blocked the release of White House records sought by the U.S. House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurgency, which has now granted a request from Trump, the Associated Press reports. . Oral arguments are set for Nov. 30.
