Donald Walton “Bosco”, 83, of Birmingham, died on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
He was born on October 30, 1938 in Birmingham and became a lifelong resident of Birmingham.
Donald is a United States Army veteran. He worked as an Electrician for IBEW 129 Electricians who retired in 2001.
He was a member of the IBEW 129 Electricians union, and enjoyed making wood and fixing things. He made beautiful tools out of pine and cherry trees in his own sawmill.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Walton of Birmingham; daughters, Tracy (Raymond) Rachel of Oberlin and Amy (Mark) Behnke of Birmingham; son, Donald T Walton of South Amherst; grandchildren, James “JR” (Tara) White, Zachary Walton, Hannah Caruso, Emily (Collin) Budka, Hope (Chase) Ryan, Sam Caruso, Sarah and Molly Walton; sisters, Mary Murphy of Portage and Wanda Thomas of Birmingham and several nieces.
Donald preceded the deaths of his parents, Ralph and Marion (nee Stage) Walton; children, Donald L Walton and Timothy Walton; brother, Robert Walton; sisters Donna Hoerig and Carole Hogue.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
