Donald Trump has dropped a hint that he could run again for President in 2024

Donald Trump hinted that he could run again as President in a Thanksgiving message to America.

In a statement the former White House leader, 75, said it was a very interesting time for the US, then told the country: But don’t worry, we’ll be great again and we’re all do it together.

America will never fail, and we will never let it go in the wrong direction.

So many generations of greatness depend on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving because you know there is a good future! He added.

The former Republican president has repeatedly hinted that he could seek another term in office since he was ousted by rival Democrat Joe Biden, in an election strongly opposed by Trump.

However, he has not yet announced a formal challenge to President Biden, 79.

Mr Trump will make a decision on whether to run again after the 2022 midterms, he told Fox News.

I definitely think about it and I see, he says.

I think a lot of people will be happy, honestly, with the decision, and will probably announce that after midterms.

Mr Trump has become the only President to be impeachable twice after the House of Representatives voted to charge him with incitement of insurrection following the deadly riot at the US Capitol building.

But Mr Trump cleared in February 2021 leaving him free to run again for office in 2024 if he so desired.

Since his election defeat the former businessman has kept a relatively low profile, spending time at his Mar-a-lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Meanwhile, President Biden also vowed to seek a second term in the White House, shrugging off concerns about his health.

She had a potential pre-cancerous polyp removed during her regular colonoscopy last week, the White House revealed Wednesday.

No further action on the health of the Presidents is needed at this time, White House physician Dr. Kevin OConnor said.

But he needs to work more to convince Americans, with one poll suggesting that only 40% believe Biden is in good health.
