Donald Trump has lashed out at Meghan Markle, saying she “disrespects” the Queen and “uses” Prince Harry.
Donald Trump has accused Meghan Markle of “disrespecting the Queen” and “horrible” manipulating Prince Harry.
The former president’s criticism came in a new interview with UK politician Nigel Farage, in which he says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “hurt” the royal family, The Sun reports.
Mr Trump has previously been critical of Meghan and earlier this year he said he would consider running again as president amid rumors that he was planning a bid for the White House.
In the interview, Mr Trump also mentioned his admiration for the Queen, who he said came from his Scottish mother, and how it blurred his view of Meghan.
He again targeted the Duchess, who he believes used Harry “excessively”, the Daily Mail reports.
In the interview, she told the former head of UKIP: “I think she has been very disrespectful to the Queen, who is a very good woman, very good man, a very historic person.
“I think he was very disrespectful to the royal family and above all to the Queen.
“I think Harry was used and overused. I think his relationship with his family was damaged, and the Queen was hurt.”
Mr Trump also said Meghan was “very inappropriate” when asked about claims she used her royal title by writing in the Sussex headed paper to lobby members of Congress on paternity. leave.
“She is trying to do things that I think are very appropriate,” he said in an interview aired with GB News.
Speaking in March after Meghan’s rumored presidential bid to Trump, she told Fox News: “Hopefully that will happen because if that happens, I think I’ll have a stronger sense of running.”
He added: “I am not his fan.
“I think he’s talking about the royal family and the Queen, and I think I know the Queen as you know, I know the Queen and I think the Queen is a huge person and I’m not a fan of Meghan. “
This followed comments in September 2020 when he slammed Meghan for suggesting that Americans should vote for Joe Biden.
He reiterated that he was “not his fan” and wished “lots of luck” to Prince Harry “because he will need it.”
And in 2019, the then president revealed his shock about what he said were “rude” comments after he called him “misogynistic” and “divisive”.
In March, Meghan told U.S. chat show host Oprah Winfrey that the royal family had “concerns and conversations about how dark” her son Archie’s “skin might be” when he was born.
That’s what prompted Prince Charles to call lawyers for claiming he was the “royal racist”, calling them “fiction”.
The allegations are featured in Christopher Andersen’s US book Brothers And Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan.
