Did Trump send out this Phallic Christmas Card in 2021?

In early December 2021, former US President Donald Trump appeared on a Christmas card with a festive and somewhat phallic design. The image was heavily shared by leftist and anti-Trump social media accounts. The @duty2warn Twitter account said: Yes, this is true.

These tweets from @duty2warn seem to be two of the most shared about the Trump Christmas card on Twitter.

Occupy Democrats executive editor Grant Stern also tweeted that this is true:

No, it’s not a parody, Stern says.

Stern later apologized and deleted the tweet:

Some have pointed out that Trump’s youngest son Barron is missing from the card. Others just want to know if this is true:

However, no, this is not an official holiday item from Trumps. This is a joke created and shared by someone other than the Trump family whose identity we have not yet established. CNN journalist Daniel Dale, among others, also denied the fake card.

It’s unclear if Trump has many Christmas cards for different purposes, but BBC journalist Shayan Sardarizadeh found one of Trump’s real Christmas cards on sale in 2021:

This is far from the first time someone has shared something untrue about Trump on Twitter.

For example, in 2017, Twitter users said that while Trump was president, a photo showed him impatiently throwing a box of fish food into a koi pond while visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. However, he just follows Abes. Moreover, a video from former US President Barack Obamas ’2016 visit to Vietnam showed a similar situation. In the clip, Vietnams National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan is shown throwing her food the same way as Trump.

Also in 2017, Twitter users posted about how Trump allegedly bullied a child on the White House Easter Egg Roll. It all started when a boy asked Trump to sign his hat. Trump signed it and then returned the hat in a playful way. From a camera angle, it appears that he did not return the hat to the child, which led to people tweeting that he was bullying the child. However, the second angle shows that the throwing of the hat ended when the item was returned to the same boy.

On the whole, no, the phallic Christmas card with Trump’s face is not an official item. It’s just a gag.
