Joe Biden says Donald Trump is “feeding” lies to QAnon and extreme Republicans | Politics | News

Joe Biden attended his first show of the night as President on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on NBC yesterday. In a video call from the White House, the U.S. leader explained how he didn’t even have a Republican vote about his Build Back Better plan.

The drafted bill, which should introduce affordable child care for all working-class and middle-class families, among others, has not yet been voted on.

According to the President, the bill faces rejection from Republicans because of a lack of communication that did not exist before Trump’s presidency.

Mr. Biden said he used to be friends with many Republicans while disagreeing with their views.

He mentioned recently that he made the eulogy of Bob Dole, a Republican Senate leader and presidential candidate who died last week at the age of 98.

Joe Biden said: “We were friends, we didn’t agree, but we were friends. We used to have a lot of that relationship.

“And that still exists.

“With the exception of QAnon and the extreme elements of the Republican Party, what Donald Trump seems to continue to feed big lies, is excruciating.

“Many Republicans in Congress would agree with me.”

Mr Cassidy told ABC that the Build Back Better plan was “a bad, bad, bad bill.”

He added: “There’s corporate welfare. It’s going to raise the price of gasoline by at least 20 cents per gallon. And it’s starting to have federal dictates on how your child’s preschool is administered, as well as the curriculum.”
