Of Woodstock, ON, formerly of St. Thomas, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in his 78th year. Beloved wife of over 51 years to Donna (née Stanley) Ball. Father of Connie Dowell (Kevin) and Tammy King (Blair Ryan). Grandfather of Karlee Csire (Andrew), Emily Ryan King, and late Megan Dowell. Rowan Csire’s great grandfather. Brother -in -law of Eva Jacques, and Jim and Beverly Stanley. Several nieces, and cousins, as well as Donna’s aunt Alice Kirk, also remember. Born in St. Thomas, ON, March 30, 1944, he was the son of the late Lorne and Dorothy (née Olive) Ball. Don is a retired employee of Jaeger Canada Ltd. He was a former member of St. Thomas Jaycees.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visit and private funeral service will be held at Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Louis. Thomas, (519-631-1160). Attendance numbers will be restricted, physical distancing will follow, and a mask or face mask will be required properly. Interment at Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the charity chosen by one will be gratefully acknowledged.
