Michael Cohen Thinks Donald Trump Will Throw His Son ‘Under the Bus’

Mark Meadows was convicted in court earlier in the week, following a refusal to comply with a subpoena to appear before the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, according to NPR. But while he didn’t go to the House as requested, Meadows handed over thousands of text messages and documents for the House to review, something Michael Cohen thinks could put Meadows on Trump’s bad side.

“It’s something I always look at and think about when I see nonsense going on inside the circle, considering that I was there at one point and at the top of the pile,” he said. “I’m watching and I’m seeing these 9,000 texts, emails from who to who to who, and I wonder, I know for a fact that there are many more, but I wonder why it’s 9,000?”

From there, Cohen continued to ponder who Trump would allow to take over the fall; Cohen’s predictions are Meadows and Donald Trump Jr. “Who will be thrown under the bus next?” he said. “And it looks to me, it looks like a few people — and Mark Meadows and I think Don Jr. will definitely be one of them. [Donald Trump Jr.] is potentially different. “

As the investigation continues, time will tell if Cohen’s predictions will come true.
