Donald Trump cheated on his own supporters after saying he got the Covid booster vaccine

Donald Trump was booed by the pockets of most in the latest leg of his “History Tour” this weekend, after announcing that he had received the Covid-19 booster vaccine.

The former president is currently touring with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, along with the two who have visited five locations across Florida and Texas.

However, in what was the last part of the tour, at Dallas ’American Airlines Center, Mr Trump got a somewhat hostile response from several quarters when he and Mr O’Reilly said they had been given their booster shot.

Mr Trump told the vast majority of uncovered supporters: “Here, we did something historic, we saved tens of millions of lives around the world when we, together, we all, got vaccine.

“It will destroy the country more than what it is now, accept it … What we have done is very beautiful, historic. Don’t let them take it.

“If you don’t want to take it, you shouldn’t force it, there is no mandate but to take the credit … Don’t let them take it from you.”

Mr O’Reilly then informed the crowd that “both the president and I had been vaccinated”, before turning to the former businessman for confirmation.

“Did you get the booster?” the former Fox News anchor asked Mr Trump. “Yes,” replied the Republican. “I got it too,” Mr O’Reilly added.

According to Mr Trump, the boos and sarcasm came from a small cluster of attendees who did not represent the views of the majority as a whole.

“No, no, no [boo] … okay, very small group up there, ”he stated, following a prompt from the side of the stage to seemingly try and quieten the audience.

This is not the first time he has received a bad response after admitting he had a Covid jab.

In October, Mr Trump revealed that he had received Pfizer’s Covid vaccine in an interview with Yahoo Finance. Video footage showed it didn’t quite come down to its opposite base.

The advice from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is for all qualified Americans to get a booster shot, as the Joe Biden administration struggles with the ever -deepening crisis over the Omicron variant.
