Donald Trump booed for receiving coronavirus booster doses
Former US President Donald Trump received a booster dose of the coronavirus. It was announced this Sunday in Dallas at the last stop of The History Tour, a live talk show he does with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, which received an unexpected reaction from attendees. When Trump announced he had received a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, the public began to boo him.
“Both the president and I were vaccinated,” O’Reilly commented to the American Airlines Center, which provoked some boos from the public, as seen in a video shared by O’Reilly’s No Spin News website.
“Did you receive reinforcement?” I asked the former president. “Yes,” Trump replied. “I wore it too,” O’Reilly added, causing more boos from those in attendance. “No! No! No! No! No!” Trump said, waving his reaction.
The former president commented in an interview with the Wall Street Journal in September that “probably” he won’t get the booster dose.
Trump, a staunch opponent of making the mandatory coronavirus vaccine, has always taken credit for vaccines made during his presidency. However, he never encouraged his supporters to get vaccinated.
While other world leaders, including Vice President Mike Pence, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, have received their doses publicly to promote the life-saving vaccine, Trump has chosen to accept him as private.
