Donald Glover’s most anticipated third season of Atlanta has a set premiere date, nearly four years since its second season aired.
Atlanta’s third season will air on FX on March 24, while also available to stream on Hulu on the same day. This is the first time the series will be available to stream while the season is still airing on television.
The show’s third season will be set, and filmed, almost entirely in Europe. It will star Glover, Lakeith Stanfield, Zazie Beetz and Bryan Tyree Henry as Earn, Darius, Van and Paper Boi, respectively.

“We are excited to return to Atlanta with a new season on March 24,” FX Entertainment president Eric Schrier said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Again, Donald Glover, the producers and stellar cast have delivered another signature season that is synonymous with excellence that beautifies Atlanta.”
The announcement of the premiere date will come almost two months after the release of the first teaser for the season. At the time of the teaser release, FX chairman John Landgraf explained that production had already begun on the show’s fourth season.
“… They’re actually in production right now in their fourth season in Atlanta,” Landgraf said.
“And all the scripts for season four have been written. I really admire those scripts for both seasons.
