Obituary for Donald Eugene Pittaway

Obituary Donald E. Pittaway, age 91, passed away March 6, 2022. He was born on November 19, 1930 to Minnie and William Pittaway in New Castle, PA where he was raised. He enlisted in the Navy from 1949 to 1953.

Don married his wife, Ann of 63 years on May 31, 1953. He was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot.

Don enjoyed dancing and woodwork.

Don is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Pittaway and his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, William J. Pittaway (Mary); daughter, Donna A. Harris; grandchildren, Donald Harris, Sarah Keogh (Aaron); great- grandchildren, Faith, Cara, Brooklyn, Keogh, Gabby, Jessie and Anna Bella Harris and also his favorite dog, April.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 am that same morning. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Daniel Brosch, Aaron Keogh, Justin Majek, Chris Cunningham, Darin Leonard and Cody Leonard.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 4620 S. Alameda St.
