Donald (Don) L. Jarvis, 82 years old, of Glendive, passed away after a short illness on March 6, 2022, at Glendive Medical Center.
Don was born, raised, and graduated high school in Powderly, Ky. He joined the Air Force and was stationed in England. When he was discharged, Don moved to California to be with family. It was here he met his loving bride Nancy.
Don and Nancy moved to Livingston, where Nancy was born and raised. It was here they started their family. Don started working for the Burlington Northern Railroad and for the Livingston Public Library. In 1986, Don transferred to Glendive, and continued working for Burlington Northern Railroad. Don retired from there after 29 years.
Don is survived by his wife, Nancy Jarvis, of 59 years of marriage, son Paul (Kim) Jarvis of Glendive, daughter Desiree (Tracy) Gackle of Brockway, sister-in-law Maxie Hartman Young of Glendive and numerous nieces and nephews.
