Not everyone’s convinced Trump’s nod to JD Vance in Ohio’s GOP Senate primary makes the race a layup

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio – For most Republican candidates in Ohio’s US Senate race, getting former President Donald Trump’s endorsement would be an unqualified political slam dunk that could only help them break out in a crowded and largely undifferentiated field.

And then there’s JD Vance.
