April 3, 1926 – January 2, 2015
Donald Raliegh Moore, 88, formerly of Spruce, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2015, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital.
Donald was born on April 3, 1926 to the late Ralph and Josephine (Larson) Moore and married Dorothy Jones on March 1, 1958. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Moore worked at Huron Portland Cement Plant until his retirement in 1986.
Surviving are his wife Dorothy; 3 children, Darla (Ralph) Lichtenberg of Maine, Donna Moore-Boatwright of Florida, Jeffrey (Katie) Moore of Montana; son-in-law, Kent Gleason of Lansing; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharlene Gleason; 2 sisters, Eleanor Rasmussen, Lorraine Pick; and a brother, William Moore.
Mr. Moore is at the Bannan Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4 -8 pm with a VFW service at 7 pm Visitation will continue Saturday, June 6, 2015, where the funeral service will take place at 2 pm with Branch President Ben Eggleston officiating.
Interment: Pleasant View Cemetery
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association
