DEAR EDITOR:
In reference to the Sept. 10 letters from a Boardman reader, urging people who support former President Donald Trump to “wake up” and “get your head out of the sand,” I offer the following:
Trump’s personality and how he delivers his message are distractions. Results are what really count. Under his term, we (1) had low unemployment, (2) nominal inflation, (3) energy independence, with lowest carbon emissions ever, (4) closed borders, (5) more jobs for minorities, (6) more women in business, (7) peace in the Middle East, (8) quiet time in Iran and North Korea, (9) Russia behaving itself, (10) stable China relationship and (11) troops coming home.
Under his term, much more would have been accomplished except for the bureaucratic swamp people in Washington, DC He knows where the snakes live, and they will do anything, as evidenced by the FBI search warrant invasion, to keep him from returning to continue draining the swamp.
Trump cares about America as the Constitution and the Founding Fathers define it and abhors the socialist world government that the left espouses.
