Donald Don R. Weakland, 65, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Sumner Place Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness, on Oct. 30, 2022.
Don is survived by his wife Lisa and their Scottish Terrier Mia, parents-in-law Joseph and Mary Voboril, brothers: Dennis (Miriam) Weakland and David (Kathryn) Weakland, sisters: Debbie (Bill) Murray and Annette (Brian) Graeve , sisters-in-law: Becky Hellbusch, Natalie (Patrick) Fitzsimmons, Amber (Todd) Wynn and Kassie (Todd McCready) Voboril, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents BB Weakland, Raymond and Kay Weakland and his grandparents. A private graveside service will be held at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Primrose with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. A private visitation and wake service will be held at Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.levanderfuneralhome.com.
