Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushners very decisive decision to walk away from Donald Trumps 2024 political ambitions may be deeper than the desire to spend time with their young family. Mary Trump, the president’s former niece, seems to think the couple realized that aligning themselves with his presidential campaign would only hurt their high society ambitions.

Mary made a very clear statement on MSNBC on Sunday about the choice of Ivanka and the Kushners. The Donald is definitely losing value in terms of the party, and in terms of politics in general, he explained. And Ivanka and Jared are legitimately rich people apart from whatever Donald is doing, so they don’t need him to the same degree that they might have.

When he won the 2016 election, the two made sure to make themselves indispensable to Donald Trump which damaged their reputation, but also made them very, very rich. Mary thinks they finally realize how their time in the White House has damaged them, even socially. Ivanka and Kushner finally realized they were doing more by distancing themselves from Donald than by staying aligned with him.

Mary added, There is always a transactional calculation being made and many people are making the calculation that it is no longer worth it to them. This does not bode well for his 2024 presidential campaign, which is already showing signs of the Republican Party not supporting him as they have in the past two election cycles. It may be time for Donald Trump to reevaluate his future goals.
