Stephen Colbert hasn’t said Donald Trump’s name out loud on The Late Show in some time, instead opting to use withering nicknames that viewers suggested for the former president on Twitter.
On Tuesday, Colbert debuted a new moniker tweeting about Trump in reference to the hit TV show The White Lotus.
The White Scrotus, Colbert cracks about Trump as he mocks the reported release of a book of letters from celebrities that the former president is working on.
Colbert also returned to character as Trump, but he didn’t like the taste in his mouth, and delivered a damning portrayal of GOP lawmakers who tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
