Sonya Gupta, Honors Student and 2022 Riddle Prize winner.
The Donald and Leah Riddle Prize is awarded each year at Commencement to an outstanding graduating senior regardless of major. The award is based on academic excellence and leadership. The winner will receive a bronze medallion and a $1,000 cash prize. The Riddle Prize is created each year in recognition of former UIC Chancellor Donald Riddle and his wife Leah Riddle and to honor the Riddles’ contributions to campus.
The application is available through UIC SnAPand the deadline is April 3, 2023.
The application requires a one-page resume, a personal statement, and at least one letter of recommendation.
