Donald Trump thinks America is a Sh*thole Country

At the end of a week in which Donald J. Trump has threatened a wave of death and destruction if he is arrested, it is not considered a good sign that he is ending it at a rally in Waco, Texas, near the 30th anniversary of fiery FBI siege of a religious cult compound that has caused the destruction of the city. Will he declare war on US law enforcement, comparing his alleged persecution of the Branch Davidians in Waco and various right-wing militia figures elsewhere? Or could he raise the temperature of the political system enough that violence could erupt through spontaneous combustion?

Not exact. Much of his address was more like an exercise in the sanctity of apocalypticism. After the former president took the stage, he stood with his hand over his heart as the PA system blasted Justice for All, Trump’s new single that features him reciting the Pledge of Allegiance backed by a chorus of jailed rioters on January 6 singing The Star-Spangled Banner. In his speech, he warned that the 2024 presidential election will be America’s final battle. He was angry with the prosecutors (absolute human scum) who threatened him. He expressed his usual disdain for political enemies, from the communists and Marxists of the Democratic Party to the globalists and RINOs of his own party. And he continued his drive-by attack on potential rival Ron DeSantis, highlighting Florida governors’ disloyalty to him and hatred of farmers and retirees.

At the end, as his closing music grew louder, Trump offered the most searing, systematic denunciation of his country ever delivered by any alleged superpatriot. It made the famously dark American Carnage inaugural address of 2017 look like something out of Sesame Street. The climax of Trumps 2024 stump speech was pitch black doom and gloom:

We are a failed nation. We are a country with the highest rate of inflation in 50 years, where banks are failing and interest rates are sky high. We are a country where energy costs have reached their highest level in our history. We are a country fed up with the radical left new deal that everyone knows will lead to our destruction.

And what disgusts America infects others:

We are a country that surrendered in Afghanistan, leaving behind dead soldiers, American citizens, and 85 billion dollars of the best military equipment anywhere. We are a country that allowed Russia to destroy a country, Ukraine, killing hundreds of thousands of people, and Taiwan will only get worse next.

Freedom, meanwhile, has been extinguished:

We are a nation against freedom, liberty, and faith. We are a country whose economy is in shambles whose stores are out of stock, whose deliveries are never coming, and whose education system is at the bottom of every single list. Large groups of sadistic criminals and thieves are able to systematically rob stores and beat up their customers and workers and leave with goods without compensation. Where the authority of our great police is taken away, where their families and patients and pensions are threatened, and their lives are destroyed because of the mere mention of the words law enforcement Fentanyl and illegal drugs are easier to get than in the formula for. our babies

We are a country that no longer has a free and fair press. You only get fake news, and they are the enemy of the people. We are a country where free speech is no longer allowed.

And, oh my God, the airports are like those in, well, shithole countries:

We are a country where beautiful airports are dirty. They are a tight mass. You sit and wait for a few hours, and then you are notified that the plane will not take off, and they have no idea when it will be where the ticket prices are tripled, they have no pilot to fly the plane, and they have no air qualification – traffic controllers, and they just don’t know what they’re doing.

Worst of all, the president is not Trump:

We have a man who is the worst president in the history of our country. Who is mentally disabled, in no condition to rule. And now casually talking about nuclear war with Russia. He had no idea what he was talking about either.

We are a nation that has lost confidence, willpower, and strength. We are a nation that has lost its way. We will not allow this horror to continue. Two years ago, we were a great nation, and we are about to be a great nation again. We will free America from these villains and tyrants who seek to destroy our country. No matter what they throw at us, no matter what they do to us, we will not bow down, we will not be broken, we will not give up. We will never give up, we will never give up, we will never back down.

It is not surprising that this man, who surrounded himself with American flags, began this address with a recording of himself leading convicted and imprisoned insurrectionists to the national anthem. Trump can no longer present himself as someone who is breaking into a broken political system to reverse decades of failure and decay; He claims that this incredible near-destruction of the United States has occurred in the past two years and that the destruction will end in 2024 if he does not return to power. No wonder he will never accept defeat. Its not his country at all if he loses.
