Donald Trump now thinks he is Elvis. He is delusional, of course.

A few weeks ago, a song appeared on iTunes from Donald J. Trump and the J6 Prison Choir. Trump recited the Pledge of Allegiance with a group of dudes in jail for their part in the January 6 uprising who sang The Star Spangled Banner. In case you missed it, here you are.

The song had a MAGA-powered bump on the iTunes singles chart (a tricky and difficult metric to measure) that pushed it to number one. That’s him crowing about being bigger than Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.

Here is the truth. Justice for All sold a grand total of 48,945 copies. That includes being streamed 1.1 million times, which, based on music industry math, equates to 10,000 in sales. A quick calculation shows that the song may have earned US$4,400 from streaming.

For it to be considered a gold record, it had to be streamed 75 million times. So, 74 million to go, then.

She’s not beating Taylor Swift or Miley Cyrus.
