Even worse: He told this lie to the paragon of truth, Tucker Carlson on his Monday show on Fox News.

On the program, the former president claimed that employees at the Manhattan Criminal Court where he was sentenced last week were crying during his ordeal.

Although Trump likes to say that people can’t help but cry in his presence, especially poor men who supposedly don’t cry until they succeed in meeting him, there is reason to be skeptical about this story.

Indeed, a law enforcement source familiar with the details of what happened at Trumps arraignment on a 34-count indictment centered on hush-money schemes tells Yahoo! that what former presidents say is complete BS.

The source offered a percentage equivalent to their claimed level of truth in Trump’s comments to Carlson.

There are no people crying. There are no people saying Im sorry, the source said.

A source told Yahoo! that aside from his lawyers and Secret Service agents, Trump only interacted with a few employees from the district attorney’s office at the courthouse that day and his exposure to others was severely limited last Tuesday.

Trump reportedly looked sad at his arrest and said little throughout the process.

There was a bit of a hiccup when Trump was fingerprinted. His fingers were so dry that the court employees gave him lotion.
