When Klepper asked Ocasio-Cortez how her fellow New Yorkers reacted to the former president’s booking, she replied: I think they treat her like a Florida person. He doesn’t belong to us. He’s not from Queens anymore. He is a citizen of Mar-a-Lago at this point.

Ocasio-Cortez joined Klepper at the Bronx’s Jacobi Medical Center to talk about the Stand Up to Violence program that treats gun violence as a public health crisis.

I can hear how Fox News is going to spin it, the AOC is trying to corrupt the police and fund gang members, Klepper joked.

If I spent my time worrying about what Fox News said, I wouldn’t be here, Ocasio-Cortez replied.
