Donald Trump isn’t a fan of many rappers, but he added Ice Spice to his short list of associates even though he has no love lost for Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The former US president stopped by the Full Send podcast on Thursday (April 20), where he was asked to give a one-word description of some of the hottest celebrities in the world today.
First, Trump was asked about Twitter CEO Elon Musk, whom he called smart. He then called Joe Biden dumb, Kim Jong Un interesting, and Kim Kardashian dishonest.
Then he was asked about Ice Spice. Who is Ice Spice? Trump answered.
The hosts responded by playing his breakthrough track, Munch, and Donald Trump became a fan. Well I want to, okay? he said. I like this.

Donald Trump is surprisingly beloved by some members of the Hip Hop community, with rappers like Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and Lil Pump all throwing their support behind the 45s presidency.
Trump brought Pump on stage at one of his rallies before Election Day but introduced him as Lil Pimp. 50 sided with Trump after seeing a version of President-Elect Joe Bidens tax plan, but later flip-flopped in true trolling fashion, while Ice Cube contacted the Trump campaign about his proposed contract with Black America. But President Barack Obama believes that Hip Hop’s support for the controversial president is due to Trumps surface charm, and how his apparent luxury lifestyle appeals to the 21st-century messaging in rap music.
Interesting people write about the fact that Trump has increased his support among Black men [in the 2020 presidential election], and the occasional rapper who supported Trump, he began. I have to remind myself that if you listen to rap music, it’s all about the bling, the women, the money.
Obama continued: Many rap videos use the same measurements of what it means to be successful as Donald Trump. Everything is gold. That inserts itself and permeates the culture.
