Donald Trump’s official website is trying to discredit rape accused Jean Carroll, saying she is a sexual harasser

On Friday, shortly after the first day of testimony in the Donald Trump vs E Jean Carroll civil rape trial, it was reported that the former official website of US presidents tried to discredit the rape accuser’s columnist.

According to an article on rawstory.com, an article by far-right blogger Jim Hoft, which claims to provide evidence that Carroll was never raped and instead accuses him of being a sexual harasser, has been linked to Trumps presidential campaign website.

Allegedly, the link was posted under the header: ICYMI: Trump Rape Accuser Admits to Sexual Assault Roger Ailes Told Him He Was His Future Husband.

The post and the article linked to it are now missing from Donald J Trump’s website. It may have been removed because of a warning Trumps lawyer received from a judge for the ex-president’s shocking posts on his social media website, Truth Social.

Judge Lewis Kaplan of the US District Court cautioned the Trumps’ legal team over what the former president said on social media about the case. He warned them that additional statements could create a new source of potential liability for the entrepreneur.

While the link for Hofts writing may have been removed from Trumps website, the article itself is still publicly available.

In the article for Gateway Pundit, Hoft claims that Carroll, in an interview with Vanity Fair, admitted that he had never been raped.

Citing the interview, he wrote, In June 2019, E. Jean Carroll sat down for an interview with Vanity Fair following her accusations against Trump. The article painted Carroll as a complete lunatic who painted his trees outside his log cabin and traveled the country with his blue-dyed poodle but not his cat, Vagina T. Fireball, whom he left in house

E. Jean Carroll admitted in the interview that Donald Trump did not rape her because she did not want to be known as a victim. The woman is conflicted, he added.

In his argument, he also cited an article from the Daily Mail in 2019, in which Carroll was quoted as saying that he sexually harassed former Fox News CEO, Roger Ailes, who himself has been falsely accused of behavior of some women.
