“Donald Trump only wants women he can control”, Ruby Wax told Sky News, adding: “He is the most dangerous man I have ever met.”

His comments came after Trump was found liable for sexually assaulting writer E Jean Carroll in the 1990s, as well as for defamation.

A civil trial rejected her claim that she was raped during the encounter, and Donald Trump has denied all wrongdoing and said he would appeal the decision.

Wax met the former US president in the 1990s for her show Ruby Wax Meets, and told Sky News’ Kay Burley: “He got me.”

“He pegged me. He said you are aggressive with a smile,” added Wax, who was born in the US.

“And that’s because I felt like a trapped animal. I wasn’t having sex, but if I had, he got me.

“But no, that’s why he hates me – he just wants a girl he can control and use as some sort of… toy.”

The author also recalled the time he was alone with the businessman, telling Burley: “He got into the car with me at one point without a sound and told me exactly what he thought of women. And this is terrible.

“And if I had a sound, he got it [sic] more votes because that’s my country.”

Speaking about the US, he said: “In the old days, (people) would say, ‘This guy can’t come close to anything’ – and the same with Bill Cosby.”

Bill Cosby was jailed in 2018 on sex assault charges, but the conviction was overturned two years later, leaving him a free man.

Last year, Cosby was found liable for sexually assaulting a woman at the Playboy Mansion, and was ordered to pay damages.

He denied all the allegations.

Following his defeat in his US defamation trial, Trump slammed his Truth Social site, calling the result “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time” and a “disgrace”.

He claimed the judge was biased and made sure “the outcome was as negative as it could possibly be, talking to, and controlling a jury from an anti-Trump place…”
