Criticized by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former president Donald Trump impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Both shared their feelings on social media.
For the last nine years, Ken has been the strongest conservative AG in the country. Bar none, Cruz wrote Saturday morning in a post on Twitter. No attorney general has fought the abuses of the Biden administration more fiercely and more effectively than Paxton.
Trump, in a post on TruthSocial, said he hopes House Republicans will see the impeachment proceedings as an unfair process.
The RINO Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is mostly a Republican and has failed the voter integrity test, wants to impeach one of the most hard-working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who won re-election that there is a large number of American Patriots who voted strongly for him, Trump wrote.
You would think that any issue would be fully judged by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so overwhelming.
State Rep. said. Tony Tinderholt, a Republican from Arlington, said he was concerned about the lack of transparency in the process. He also shared Trumps social media post and thanked the former president for his comments.
I am deeply troubled by the lack of transparency in the process by which the House General Investigating Committee pursued the impeachment against @KenPaxtonTX.
