NH Gov said. Sununu has declared GOP WH candidates who must go after Trump, according to The New York Times.

“Any Republican who doesn’t hit Donald Trump right now is doing the whole party a disservice,” he said.

Sununu, now in his fourth term as governor, is considering jumping into the presidential race.

New Hampshire Republican Gov. is still thinking. Chris Sununu has jumped into the presidential race but has sternly warned declared candidates who have not yet aggressively targeted former President Donald Trump to move their stuff.

“All Republicans need to hit Donald Trump,” Sununu told The New York Times. “Any Republican who doesn’t bash Donald Trump right now is doing the whole party a disservice because if only one or two people are willing to take a shot at Donald Trump, it looks personal. It looks petty.”

The governor, who in November 2022 was elected to his fourth two-year term in office, told the newspaper that he is “50-50” at the moment when it comes to entering the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Sununu, a Trump critic who last year rejected a concerted effort by Washington Republicans for him to run for Senate against Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan, has repeatedly said that a Trump nomination would harm the GOP and likely cost the party the presidency.

“Trump is going to be seen as a very extreme candidate. The country is going to push back against it,” Sununu told ABC News earlier this year.

Speaking to NBC News last month, Sununu called Trump a “loser” and blamed the former president for the Republican congressional losses in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
