Memorial services for Donald Earl Caldwell, 84, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother John Wayland officiating, under courtesy of Angelina Masonic Lodge #1263 AF & AM Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Caldwell was born February 27, 1939 on a farm in Shelby County, Texas to Gertrude Gladys (Agnew) and Guy Walton Caldwell, and died Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Nacogdoches.
Formerly from Pasadena, Mr. Caldwell has lived in Huntington for more than 30 years. He retired from the Pasadena Police Department after 30 years as a Police Officer and then a Detective. Mr. Caldwell is a member of the Angelina Masonic Lodge #1263 AF & AM He is of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Jo Evelyn Boreta of California; son, George Caldwell of Huntington; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Joan Caldwell of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and four brothers.
