Donald Melvin Whitaker
June 15, 1961 – May 31, 2023
Donald Melvin Whitaker, age 61 of Dublin passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born June 15, 1961 in Pulaski, he was a son of the late Donald Elwood Whitaker and Lora Darlene Stuart Whitaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hazel Cook Stuart and grandfather, Melvin Dill Stuart and grandparents, Charles Francis Whitaker and Ollie Rhea Turner Whitaker.
Throughout the years, Melvin has done a lot of volunteer work within his community. He had a love for music and played music by ear. He is a comedian and can make anyone laugh.

Sisters- Tammy Whitaker- Pulaski, Ramona Whitaker- Pulaski, and Linda Farris- Pulaski

Funeral Services will be held Monday 2:00 pm, June 5, 2023 at Bower Funeral Home Chapel,
Pulaski with Pastor Gladys Arnold and Pastor Barbara Mayberry officiating. Interment will follow in Ray Cemetery, Brookmont Road, Pulaski County.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations for funeral expenses be sent to Bower Funeral Home.
