Dean “Lebron” O’Donald, 86, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 3, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of north Georgia and son of the late William and Fanny O’Donald. Lebron was a member of Burning Bush Baptist church for the past 58 years where he enjoyed fellowship and worship with friends. He was a dairy farmer for nearly 30 years and was active in Quitman Lodge #106 and the regional Soil & Water Conservation agency for over 50 years.
Lebron was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lucy O’Donald, parents William Edward and Fannie Nance O’Donald, brothers, Kendall and William O’Donald, sisters, Virginia Priddy and Melba O’Donald. Survivors include her son, Dean (Susan) Edward O’Donald, Ringgold, grandchildren, Josh (Katie) O’Donald and Cody O’Donald, great-grandchildren, Kensi and Liam O’Donald and many nephew
Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 6 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rev. Dennis McNulty and Colin Crosen. Interment was in Burning Bush Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh, Cody, and Billy O’Donald, Ronnie Ross, Robert Ellington, and Kevin Ross.
Honorary Pallbearers are numerous throughout the community and too numerous to mention; however, their friendship and support cannot go without recognition and gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Burning Bush Baptist Church.
