In an explosive piece from Vanity Fair titled Inside the Trump Marriage: Melania’s Burden, they said that “things changed” after Melania became pregnant. They wrote, “He’s 35—’checkout time’ for women, as Trump told Howard Stern—and no longer the dewy fox he met seven years ago. A guest at one of Trump’s homes , late in Melania’s pregnancy, recalled that he said he agreed to the baby on the condition that Melania return her body. ‘He promised her that everything would go back to the way it was,’ this guest said; it hit the this year as a ‘contract.’”

Melania is rumored to be living in a separate DC home with Barron, away from Donald, who has stayed in the White House. In a Washington Post story about the first lady’s private life, her office denied the rumor. Their spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said it was “1,000% false:” “We always laugh about it.”

This rumor may be the biggest conspiracy theory attached to their marriage. People have been tweeting videos and photos for years, claiming Melania has a body double to stand in for her at many of Donald’s events. Donald himself blasted the rumors, according to the AP.

Insiders recently declared that Melania does not want any part of Donald’s Presidential campaign and never has. “Melania is not now or has not recently been involved in her husband’s political events,” an insider told People in April 2023. “It’s uncomfortable for her.”
