Trump warns Biden ‘gloves off’ speaking ahead of UFC 290

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump warned President Biden during a speech in Las Vegas on Saturday that the “gloves are off” – hours before attending a UFC fight.

The 45th president repeatedly criticized his successor during a campaign speech at the city’s Calvary Chapel, where he spent about 40 minutes saying the Biden administration’s policies have made immigration worse, economy, crime and other subjects.

“We have a corrupt, incompetent leader in Biden,” Trump told supporters in the battleground state.

“I wouldn’t have said this three weeks ago. I wouldn’t have said it. I am actually very kind to him. I was very nice to him, but now we can’t be nice because the gloves are off. The jar was opened … He was completely compromised.”

Trump has made several accusations, including that Biden “took millions of dollars from other countries like China,” likely a reference to recent extensive foreign business investments by his son, Hunter Biden, as well in Russia, Romania and Ukraine which have been under recent investigation.

Biden was not directly tied to his son’s multi-million dollar deal, though his name was mentioned in various email exchanges during that time.

“He’s very compromised,” Trump said. “In history, there has never been a scandal like this.”

Trump also criticized Biden for blocking the Keystone Pipeline project and cracking down on immigration at the southern border, as well as accusing Democrats of rigging the election in Biden’s favor.

In the middle of his swipe, Trump announced that he would start calling Hillary Clinton “Beautiful Hillary” because his former “crooked” moniker for his 2016 opponent was now reserved for the commander-in-chief.

“I don’t like to make the same word for two people. We use the word crooked for Joe Biden because Joe Biden is the most crooked president in the history of our country by hundreds. He is a fraud,” the former president said.

After publicly warning Biden to “take the gloves off,” Trump went to a UFC fight at the T-Mobile arena with longtime ally Roger Stone and controversial actor Mel Gibson.

The trio were seen chatting with UFC President Dana White in a photo posted to Twitter by Stone with the caption: “Shooting the s–t.”

Trump’s Las Vegas stop came a day after campaigning in Iowa, where he billed himself as “the most pro-pro-farmer president you’ll ever have.”

He has repeatedly targeted Republican challenger Ron DeSantis — whom he blasted as “overrated” on Saturday — on the campaign trail in the months following the announcement of the Florida governor’s candidacy.
