Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who is already living in a happy home in Lebanon County. Other times, the column highlights an animal that is available for adoption through a local shelter and is looking for a forever family.

This week, meet the adoptable Donald!

Donald, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is 4 years old, male and an “all around goofball.”

He offers free kisses and has “zero concept of personal space,” Mika added. He’s also energetic “in spurts” but he’s also a “total cuddle bug.” His long legs make him a great running partner, she says, and he’s food-motivated and eager to please. He is also good at crate and house breaking.

Donald “enjoys other dogs, so his ideal household would have at least one playful dog for him to hang out with,” she said. However, he is best suited to a home without cats. Mika says they are looking for “an active family with enough love to spare who can continue to work towards polishing his character to help him be the best he can be.”
