Donnie Hester II, 47, of Stanford, KY passed away in Stanford on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Born September 1, 1975 in Harrodsburg, KY to Beulah Carolyn Carr Hester and the late Donald Hester, Sr. He enjoyed playing golf, making people laugh, and spending time with his mother, whom he loved dearly. Donnie admired and loved listening to the late Dr. Charles Stanley sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She would wake up and turn on the tv at 6:00 am every Sunday morning to listen to him.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Ballard Hester of Stanford; his mother, Beulah Hester of Stanford; two step-sons, Michael Austin Crowe and Justin Douglas Crowe; a sister, Tami Releford Lynn (Lee) of Stanford; three nieces Cheyenne Releford, Haleigh Releford and Emmie Releford; and a great-niece, Anaalise.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hester, Sr.; and a sister, Emilie Karoll Hester.
A one-day service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm with Bro. Vola Brown and Bro. Chris Taylor officiated.
The funeral will be held at a later date.
