Donald Boren, 85, passed away July 18, 2023, in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah. He was born on May 31, 1938, in Vernal, Utah to James Alma Boren and Bessie Mae Monroe.

He was a truck Driver for DDO and retired after 35 years of civil service. He earned his AS in accounting through Weber State, was a member of the Catholic Faith and served in the United States Navy. He married Diana Staley on March 1, 1963, they later divorced.

Donald enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, building homes, the outdoors, fishing/fishing, deer hunting and was a jack of all trades. He was a free man, there was nothing our father couldn’t do.

Donald is survived by his children, Donnelle (Craig) Robinson, Vivian Ridenour, Duane Boren, Devin Boren and Derek Boren; his brother, Bert Boren; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters; 11 siblings; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Justin; and a son-in-law, Charles.

His graveside will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at Brigham City Cemetery, 300 E. 300 S., Brigham City, Utah, with a viewing prior from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Brigham City Myers Mortuary, Utah East Brigham City, 205 South Brigham City, Utah.
