Donald R Sherman, 68 of Ashville, OH passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Donald was born on March 10, 1955 in Lockbourne, OH to the late Roy Donald and Olga Rose (Gernovich) Sherman. He was a 1973 graduate of Bloom Carroll High School and graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Donald worked as the Director of Services for the City of Circleville and before that for many years for Fairfield Utilities. Donald attended St. John The 23rd Catholic Church in Lithopolis.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Daniel Sherman.
Donald is survived by his wife Susan M. (Pastrick) Sherman; children Elizabeth Sherman, Rachel (Alex) Lonsberry, Matthew (Sarah) Sherman; granddaughter Anneliese Lonsberry and another on the way; special aunt and uncle Doris and Alex Gernovich.
