Former President Donald Trump is hosting a fundraiser for upstate Rep. Elise Stefanik at his New Jersey golf course Wednesday night, The Post may reveal.

Stefanik (R-NY), a Trump favorite, was last month elected chairman of the House Republican Conference, the third highest in leadership. He replaced Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), A frequent critic of Trump.
Trump publicly supported Stefanik’s bid for the leadership position, calling him a “talented communicator.”
Stefanik recently announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
Trump first plans to meet with Stefanik one-on-one at his National Golf Course Bedminster around 4:30 p.m., followed by an hourly round table with nearly 20 top donors and a larger reception to begin at 6 in the evening where he will pay attention to a room of approximately 50 donors.
The Stefaniks team told The Post that more than $ 250,000 has been raised for the Elise Victory Fund so far, and large donors like Karen and Jay Kemmerer, the Wyoming owners of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, is attending the event.
Stefanik has emerged as one of Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo’s biggest and most ardent critics amid numerous scandals surrounding his handling of the pandemic coronavirus and harassment accusations against him. He was called the “worst governor” in America.
He also became a major Trump advocate during the former president’s hearing.
