Jimmy Kimmel referred to Caitlyn Jenner as “Donald Trump in a Caitlyn Jenner wig.” He called the comment, saying Kimmel should believe that trans women are “simple men with wigs.” Jenner then shared posts criticizing the show host for problematic behavior in the past.

California Republican gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner turned back to Jimmy Kimmel calling him “Donald Trump in a Caitlyn Jenner wig,” The Hill reported.

In a segment on her nightly talk show on ABC, Kimmel taunted Jenner for her appearance Thursday on ABC’s “The View.” Kimmel said, as photos of former presidents Donald Trump and Jenner appeared on screen. She also called the reality star, who is now politically promising, “Caitlyn Jenner Car-Crashian”-a reference to the deadly 2015 collision that involved Jenner.

Jenner responded to the comments by sharing a screenshot on Twitter of an article branded Kimmel as “transphobic.”

“Last night @jimmykimmel called me Donald Trump with a wig,” Jenner wrote. “She clearly believes that trans women are simply men with wigs. Where’s the anger from the left or the LGBT community? Being WOKE should be optional if you’re a Democrat.”

Jenner’s run for governor in California has been dismissed as a “joke” and a way to boost his relationship, Insider Oma Seddiq reported.

A recent study of 10,289 registered voters by the Berkeley Institute of Government Studies found that he votes with only 6 percent support.
