Don Jr. posted a second Father’s Day tweet hours later urging followers to sign a petition[ing] politicians who stand up for the Big Family. “The petition was sponsored by The American Princes Project, a conservative organization that opposes same-sex marriage, transgender rights, access to abortion, and a“ leftist ”approach to teaching American history in schools.
Finally, nearly six hours after his first holiday greeting, Don Jr. tweeted a link to the Father’s Day message posted on his Rumble video account. Recording from a room in his home decorated with deer-head trophies, junior Trump said, “I just wanted to be aware of an incredible Father’s Day. I know my father was incredible. , I expect your dad to be incredible, and I’m trying to be an incredible father myself. ”The video also showed a few photos of senior and junior Trump together.
However, the heart of his video is a political wet on families that don’t fit into the traditional nuclear-family mold: “God knows there probably aren’t enough good dads out there these days …. seems to be missing in so many households, and you don’t have to look too far at the statistics how much it’s a problem to have no father … certainly not to have a father involved. ”
To his credit, Donald Jr. is the only son of Trump to pay tribute to the holiday as of this writing; Sisters Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany remained silent on the subject.
