Trump’s fundraising arm is back with Facebook advertising

[ad_1]

After only a few months in office, it is clear that Biden is nothing but a washed out, career politician with no trace of what he does. There is a CRISIS on our border, gas prices are SKYROCKET, and America is on DECLINE! Please make a donation today to show President Trump what you Really think about Joe Biden, the ad says.

The ads are linked to the fundraising page of Trumps Save America, operated by Republican digital ad firm WinRed.

The amount of money behind the ads is incredibly small as these expenditures go. But the use of the platform is remarkable: Trump is raising funds on a massive social network that he still considers persona non grata.

Earlier this month Facebook announced that it would suspend Trump from its platform for two years until January 2023 after which it will reconsider whether he should be reinstated. Trump was initially banned from the site for posts encouraging his supporters to riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

In establishing a two-year penalty for aggravated offenses, we consider this requirement to be sufficient enough to allow a safe period of time after acts of incitement, to be significant enough to be deterrent. to Mr. Trump and others from committing such extreme violations in the future, and be proportional to the gravity of the violation itself, Facebook Vice President of Global Affairs Nick Clegg said in a post on the company’s blog in June.

The Save America Joint Fundraising Committee’s recent spending on Facebook emphasizes that Trump’s Facebook suspension is resemblance and voice only, and not organizational. Earlier this year, the site dropped a video interview Lara Trump conducted with her father-in-law on the grounds that she essentially played down the ban by getting her words posted via a cut.

The Facebook page operated by Save America which posts under the username Team Trump continues to post on Facebook following the riots on Capitol Hill. But it hardly reflects the kind of provocative behavior that Trump himself has booted. The last post was in March wishing supporters a happy St. Patrick’s Day. Patricks.

Facebook did not return a request for comment.

The new ads also suggest Trumps aides recognize the use of the social media site in organizing and collecting money. The Trump campaign relies heavily on Facebook to drive small dollar donations in addition to Trump connecting with his supporters through messages shared on his page.

Expelled from the site, Trump handed over the social media company and its founder Mark Zuckerberg, and indicated that he would not return to Facebook even if allowed. The next time I was in the White House there were no more dinners, at his request, with Mark Zuckerberg and his wife. Everything will be business!

Trump also called the ban an insult to the record -setting 75M people, along with many more, who voted for us in the 2020 Rigged Presidential Election. They should not be allowed to get away with this censorship and silencing, and ultimately, we will win. Our Country no longer takes this abuse!

Despite the ban, Trump still continues to have a massive reach due to Trump-friendly pages like Breitbart News and President Donald Trump Fan Club according to a New York Times study.
