If you heard the voice of former President Donald Trump on your radio on Friday, there is a reason.
Trump posted an ad boosting his support for U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks on congressmen’s bid for the U.S. Senate next year.
Hi Alabama, this is your favorite president, Donald Trump, Trump said at the beginning of the ad.
Trump endorsed Brooks’s Senate campaign in April.
You’ll hear an ad on Brooks’ campaign Facebook page.
Few Republicans have as much courage and resistance as Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks, a friend of mine, Trump said in the ad. Mos is a great conservative leader who fights for America first, whatever the barrier to fake news media, RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) or social Democrats are put in his path. And he knows how to fight.
Mo Brooks is pro-life, loves our military and our vets, protects our Second Amendment, opposes the Biden open border agenda, fights for voter integrity like few others. Im President Trump and MAGA Mo Brooks has my complete and total endorsement MAGA Mo will never let you down.
Trump called his campaign slogan MAGA, which is short for Make America Great Again.
Brooks is one of three candidates seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat held by Senator Richard Shelby, who will retire when his term ends in January 2023. Montgomery businesswoman Lynda Blanchard, a former ambassador while in the Trump administration, and former Shelby Chief of Staff Katie Britt Boyd, who resigned as president and CEO of the Alabama Business Council to launch her campaign, are the other candidates.
No Democrat has announced plans to run for office.
