Who will be the team MVP this season?

The Los Angeles Rams are a team built to win a Super Bowl today. In the long run, they may not be in the best cap shape, but when it comes to this season, they have talent like any team on paper.

That’s partly because they have three title players who could all end the year as MVP teams. Matthew Stafford is an obvious choice to be considered the Rams ’most important player to come in January and could fight for the league MVP, but Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey are there with him when it comes to value.

Heck, you can also throw in the mix Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Cam Akers and Andrew Whitworth.

But who will end the season as Rams MVP in 2021? According to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, its Donald, not veteran quarterback Stafford.

Donald is one of the greatest players in NFL history and putting anyone else as the top MVP candidate for the Rams is absolutely hogwash. The 30-year-old internal lineman is once again a fear for resistance on offensive lines, rolling a league high 98 pressure while being released as No. 1 NFL interior defender against running, according to the PFF. It was an annual production for Donald, who enjoyed a long climax that would one day put him in Canton. I was riding the hype train rolling with Matthew Staffordand Sean McVay, but Donald is the heart and soul of Rams football and will continue to do so in 2021.

Without Donald, the Rams wouldn’t have a No. 1 NFL defense last season. The same can be said about Ramsey. But while most people expect the LA defense to remain one of the top units in football again this year, that offense should improve.

It is expected to include Stafford under center and Sean McVay calling the plays. If Stafford had a season with a similar 4,500 yards and 35 touchdowns, hell was viewed as the teams MVP. But if he’s just going to put up average numbers and Donald dominates again the way he has in seven seasons, he should take the honor as the Rams ’most important player.
