‘Something concerning’: Ex-Trump doctor urges Biden to take cognitive test, World News

Donald Trumps former White House physician, Ronny Jackson, has been urged for a cognitive test for U.S. president Joe Biden to determine his mental health.

“The far left and the mainstream media are demanding to be the new standard for anyone to lead our country and be our Commander-in-Chief and our head of state,” Jackson said in an interview with Fox News. “I’m just saying I agree with them on this point we need to do it.”

Jackson appeared on the channel to discuss the thinking abilities of the Presidents after former US President Donald Trump repeatedly said Biden was unfit to lead the country.

The former Trump supporter believes there is something about what is happening to Biden that needs to be taken into account as a priority for the good of the President and the country.

“I think he shows every single day that something is happening,” Jackson said. “You don’t have to be a physician to look at this behavior and see that there’s something going on about it.”

“You can go back there was a 40 year tape of this guy that he always did gaffes and stuff but they were different, he was confused, he was confused,” Jackson added. “He’s just not aging well at this point.”

The cognitive test in question is the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). This is a 30-point test that will help evaluate memory impairment.

Trump was tested in 2018 after critics questioned his ability to run the country. Notably, Trump was able to score a perfect score of 30 out of 30.

Jackson praised Trump for testing in 2018 and said the former reality TV star has set a pattern that all future presidents should follow.

The Bidens team has announced that the leader will take the physical presidency this year, but whether the MoCA will be part of that review is not yet clear.

“I just ask them when you do the physical exam include cognitive assessment,” Jackson said. “As far as I’m concerned the standard has already been set and they have to follow and do the same.”

Trump did not leave this opportunity to belittle his opponent. He recently bragged about his perfect score and challenged Biden to achieve the same.

“He’ll get the first two. There are 35 questions and the first two or three are pretty easy. They’re the animals. It’s a lion, a giraffe. When he reaches about 20, he’ll have a hard time. I think he will have a hard time in the first few, honestly, ”Trump was quoted as saying.
