A longtime friend of White, Trump became the first U.S. president past or present to attend a UFC event when he sat on the cageside at UFC 244 in November 2019. The event was spearheaded by promotions that one that is against the BMF title between Trump’s staunch supporter Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. Entering his home state of New York, Trump was greeted with a mixed reception.

In the meantime, White has visited the White House on numerous occasions. He also spoke at the 2016 and 2020 Republican National Con Conventions with messages he repeated on the campaign trail at Trumps rallies before the 2020 election.
