DALLAS Former President Donald Trump Sunday accused Democrats of trying to intimidate the Supreme Court to ensure favorable decisions, including threatening to pack nine bank members and floating impeaching Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“Democrats are cruel to the Supreme Court and to Kavanaugh,” Trump said.

Trump made the comments as part of his extensive speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, where he visited on grievances ranging from his impeachment to Russia’s investigation while attacking Democrats on topics including the immigration and critical theory of race.

For part of his speech, Trump focused on what he said was an unexpected liberal decision from the Supreme Court, which had a 6-3 GOP-appointed majority, including three justices appointed by Trump himself.

Trump also cited comments made by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., directed at Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorsuch, which many said seemed threatening.

“How can he get out of there? By voting for the Democrats,” Trump said. “Very sad thing.”
