Donald Watson was convicted of the crime of murder but thanks to SB 1437, Nancy Skinner’s law that allows people convicted of murder who are not the actual killer or primary participants to petition for re -enactment, Watson was able to emerge from in prison.
During his time in prison, he became a prison lawyer and helped his fellow incarcerated individuals file motions and petitions. He parked that in a business where he acted as a paralegal, filing motions and helping incarcerated individuals and others submit actions to court for release or resentment.
