Jenna Ellis said she was done with the GOP because its members did not adequately back former President Donald Trump.
The former senior legal adviser to Trump announced he was leaving the Republican Party in a lengthy monologue on his Real Americas Voice show Just The Truth on Monday.
The truth is important, Ellis began, who as a member of Trump’s legal team that pushed former presidents are lying in an attempt to overthrow the 2020 election.
Ellis, who previously described Trump as an idiot, said Republicans were stabbed by back-Trump. He also accused the Republican National Committee of not championing issues that improve America.
All of them, including Ronna McDaniel, should resign from the post today, Ellis declared, referring to the RNC chair.
Until they do, until now, I will resign from the party, he continued. I change my voter registration and I am no longer a Republican until the party decides it wants to be conservative again.
Even if I stand alone for the truth, I will stand for the truth, he added.
